AB stands for 'Aurora Borealis' - like the southern lights. It is a rainbow coating on the bead.

Layer of gold that has been electro-deposited onto a metal; its thickness is measured in microns.

ROLLED GOLD

Similar to GOLD FILLED, but the layer is not quite as thick.

VERMEIL

Silver, bronze or other base metal gilded by a layer of another metal (usually gold).
